Evidence-based treatment
A client-centered, integrated approach incorporates various evidence-based therapies, allowing for treatment that is tailored to your unique needs, strengths, values, and goals.
-
An action-oriented therapy that focuses on building psychological flexibility - openness to (and acceptance of) difficult emotions, while adapting your thoughts and behaviours to better align with your values and goals. Mindfulness and behavioural strategies are used to clarify values and take committed actions towards a meaningful life, even in the presence of discomfort or distressing thoughts.
-
A structured, goal-oriented therapy that focuses on identifying and changing maladaptive thought patterns and unhelpful behaviours. By increasing awareness of these patterns, clients can replace them with healthier, more balanced perspectives and actions. CBT aims to reduce distress, improve emotional regulation, and enhance problem-solving and coping skills.
-
Mindfulness is the practice of being fully present and engaged in the moment. It is the quality of awareness, that arises through paying attention, on purpose, and without judgement.
By cultivating mindfulness, clients learn to respond to challenges with greater clarity, emotional regulation, and compassion, leading to improved mental health and well-being.
Mindfulness-integrated therapy supports clients in creating lasting change through developing a balanced and resilient mindset.
-
A short-term, goal-oriented therapy that focuses on problem-solving through identifying strengths, resources, and practical strategies.
